KEPLER IN CONDEGRES 2024
15 de October de 2024KEPLER Ingeniería y Ecogestión has participated in the X Simposio Nacional sobre Control de la Degradación y Recuperación de Suelos, CONDEGRES 2024, organized by the University of Burgos.

Our partner Jorge Diamantino Miranda, PhD and expert consultant in microbiology, has had the pleasure of presenting the paper “Mycoremediation by means of biopiles at real scale of soils contaminated by total petroleum hydrocarbons”. This objective is framed within the European project MySOIL – LIFE project in which, together with the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, KEPLER is the Spanish working team of the consortium. During the presentation, the results obtained so far during the physicochemical and microbiological monitoring of the biopile being decontaminated at CEPSA’s La Rábida Energy Park facilities in Palos de la Frontera (Huelva) were presented.

Likewise, our predoctoral researcher, Jimena Sainz Cerezo, presented the poster “Recovery by in-situ chemical reduction of soil and groundwater contaminated with tetrachloroethylene”, showing the main results of one of the chemical reduction projects that KEPLER is currently carrying out.

KEPLER has participated in the 5th Conference on Soil Contamination organized by the Waste Agency of Catalonia on February 18–19, 2026. In this edition, which brought together more than 270 attendees, some of the topics covered included the application of sustainability in remediation techniques, the latest developments in bioremediation, and the current regulatory and technical […]
Collaboration with European Research Centres continues to promote soil bioremediation
We continue moving forward in the research of innovative soil remediation strategies. This time, within the BIOREM project, in collaboration with ICCRAM and Laboratory for Colloid Biology – Jozef Stefan Institute, focused on the treatment of recalcitrant contaminants. Secondments carried out so far have enabled valuable knowledge exchange, allowing us to share results, key learnings […]
